Checksums

The easy way to calculate file checksums.

Checksums is a shell extension library which adds a new page to the File Explorer file properties window. From within File Explorer, simply right-click any file and select Properties from the context menu to bring up the file properties window. The Checksums page will display the cryptographic checksums (also known as hashes) of the selected file, and allow you to verify the calculated checksum.

Checksums supports the following algorithms:

  • MD5
  • SHA-1
  • SHA-256
  • SHA-384
  • SHA-512

Checksums does not display advertisements, and will not spy on you in any way. No data is collected by this application.
